Question The new Ansett, what about the old Ansett Regionals?

The 'truckie' and the other guy in the 'suite' are buying Ansett, so what will happen to the regionals who were owned by the old Ansett?
When they are sold will they feed into the new Ansett and will they remain painted in the Ansett colour?
And what about the old Ansett regional partners, Airnorth, Sunshine Express and Eastland Air who are now flying for Qantas. Will the new Ansett want them back under the new Ansett banner?
And Flight West, could it become the new Regional Jet operator for this new Ansett?

Forget it! We're out on our own.

Any tie in costs big bucks in ID travel for employees, costly delays due to late regional connections which would be obligatory under such, and the risk of association...........

I think the "new Ansett' would be better to change names to SkyFlight or something, what this new "Ansett" will be, will have no relationship at all to the old. Forget conditions as they were, regionals as they were, forget life as it was. This is, well maybe if it survives, a brand new operation. New rules, new jobs, new conditions, new out looks, new playing fields. What it is NOT, is Ansett of the past with new owners. It is a brand new airline, with a brand new venture.

I whish all involved, the best of luck, and I thank my lucky stars I am not involved with it at all. But to those of you that are, all the best.
