Post Who owns who?

I'm trying to get a picture of what percentages of airlines other airlines own.
Please correct me where I am wrong:

Air New Zealand owns 100% of Ansett

Qantas owns 25% of ANZ?

Singapore owns ??% of ANZ

BA owns 25? or 49?% of Qantas

Singapore is wholly owned by itself?

Singapore owns 49% of Virgin Atlantic?

Any other ownership info on airlines in this region of the world appreciated.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

QANTAS owns 0% of NZ

SQ owns 25% of NZ

Mind you that could have changed in the last 10 minutes

Wink

It's simple really, NZ owns AN, SIA owns NZ, QF owns NZ, AN owns QF, SIA owns AN, and NZ owns QF.

Got it?

Well, I thought 429 CJ said everything. Let me restate the important bit thou:

*Ansett International - AirNZ49%, Australian Insitutional Investors 51%.
Why is it important? Because SQ what the international landing rights which AN International has, oh and BTW in a few years when the next stage in long laug jet arrives and can fly direct from Oz to LHR, by passing Singapore they will need basing in Oz.

I Think it's time for Barry Jones little diagrams, like the one he did for the educating Oz thingy.

Why would the Oz Govt hand Intnl landing rights over to a foreign power without going through the usual capacity drill.

SQ have done well out of being a tech stop out of Oz so far why hand over the keys when it looks like getting a bit hard for the poor dears.
