Question Info on '89

For those of us who aren't in the industry (but support it from our own pockets)the extent of animosity deriving from the '89 business is extraordinary. Thirteen years down the track the events of '89 seem more vivid than ever and I'm curious as to why this should be. So...where can I learn about the events and outcomes surrounding the '89 disputes? Is there a definitve book, set of articles, etc that can provide an unbiased view? I hope this post doesn't degenerate into another mud slinging opportunity - we've seen more than enough of that. I think I would speak for a lot of non-industry people when I say I just want to learn something.. .Any thoughts??. . <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" />

Thumbs up

Fantastic. We have a link now. History has demonstrated, Spinnaker, that discussions about 1989 always degenerate into mud slinging. There is no such thing as an unbiased view (or at least I am yet to see one on this bulletin board). Now it's time for Mr. Padlock.
