Tool, an historic analysis of your posts indicate that you only use this forum as a platform to yell "Scab..!!" from. Most ppruners , including myself, would value the perspective that you undoubtably have to offer as both an Aviator and as a participant of what may now be refered to as "The First Great Apocalypse". I qualify this by adding that such perspective is only useful if you are prepared to contribute rationally. In the future, I respectfully suggest that you 1) contribute rationally, as this will maximise the benefit to others who read your posts and 2) try to see the point of view of others with whom you disagree with rather that automatically demonising them.

Tool Time Too,you are one sick puppy!. .We all know your little bottom lip is sticking out because of decisions YOU made in 1989.. .Have a bit of compassion for people who have lost their incomes through no fault of their own.. .The majority of whom had nothing whatsoever to do with your little blip in the big line of life.. .Grow up!

Best of luck girls and guys. I hope you all land on your feet as quickly and pain free as possible.
Sorry it was so tantalisingly close, I can only imagine the feelings of frustration and betrayal you all must feel.
Blue skies and tail winds all.

As a consumer, I offer my sympathy to the loyal crew at ANSETT, you lot where always fun to fly with. As a bus driver I saw what happened to ANSETT coachlines, and now it has happened to the airline as well. I truely feel so sorry for all the staff. Hopefully an airline will arise that will be run by aviation minded people, not the carpetbagger beancounters.

Prong Wallop: I'm not closing this thread because the respondents (apart from one) have been positive, unlike yourself. The threads you have started recently have been inflammatory and unwelcome on this BBS.

Thanks to all who wish us well. It's impossible to describe how we feel. I'm still shellshocked. Just wanted to let all you Brisbane guys know we're drinking on Sunday. Email me or check in with your old pal Margy for details.. .If I keep drinking it stops any feeling!
Best of luck to all Ansett crews. This is such a sad time in Australian aviation history, how such a magnificent Aussie icon can be brought down to the ground is truly saddening. As an echo of previous posts, heres hoping you find suitable employment in the very near future.
