Have a look at QF Mans post of the Qantas Recruitment thread. He says that direct entry has slowed down while they concentrate on the cadet pilot recruitment for next year.
Are you guys doing Level 1 or 2 entry? Have you done stage one or two yet?

I was wondering if there was any chance that you could put a application into Qantas without currently meeting the requirements (ie not completed ATPL, but will do soon 
)
Has anyone done so, and if so, do they hold onto your application.

The last time I was told the policy it was a definate no - you have to have the requirements to be placed in the pile. As far as I know it's one of the main ways they can cut down the Cadet applications: by immediately rejecting people that don't meet the criteria.
