Post CPL Training

Towards the end of 2002, I am looking at commencing my CPL training in the Sydney area preferably Bankstown. (I have completed my CPL theory at Sydney TAFE 2000, I just need to revise and sit the CPL theory test mid 2002)

Could anyone refer a good flying school or schools, (with stable, mature instructors) that I could do the CPL training with, on a weekend basis?

I would be interested in, some other pilot's point of views on good CPL training schools at Bankstown, which include safety first and secondly value for money.

There is a couple of schools that I did my GFPT & PPL training with previously, that I could revert back too, if need be.

I am 38 years old and not interested in the airlines or flying for a full time job, it is more for pleasure and doing the odd charter flight commercially.

Thanks

AW

You'll probably find that you wont get an answer here. Not because everyone doesn't want to help. But because some nasty bunfights have ensued in the past when this sort of thing comes up.

I can point you towards a couple of people that I know if you like. Email me.

not offering a place but more of a concept.
if it fits with your schedule, why not incorporate the training into a holiday.
eg. i'm a surfer, so i'd go somewhere like the gold coast, sunshine coast or the like. did my training in tassie and loved the scenery, and the weather tests you if you want (but the water's a little fresh in the middle of winter).

find what you like and go for it.
if you stay in sydney, have a wave for me.

BTW it's refreshing to see you doing this for your own reasons and not what some instructor tells you might happen.

Have a chat to Sue Davis at Aeropspace Aviation. If her school doesn't suit, I am sure she'll know one that will.
If you don't mind going to Hoxton Park, I would recommend Liverpool Flying School.
