Post USA FOR OZ PILOTS

Has anyone made a go of hitting the states for work and does the green card system give any preferance to specific qualifications that maybe seen as of benefit to the US. Obviously not the ideal time to be asking but I think it is fair to say that our lifestyles and communication cannot be sustained without alot of metal tubes flying through the air.

looks like the question about right to work in US has been answered, as for the job scene in the US, its fairly grim when compared to before Sept11.
Im an Aussie with an American Dad. Ive been flying in the US for five years, and ive never had any problem getting work over here, there is a lot more of everything in the US, including Pilot jobs. Most people that are dedicated enough to get through all the flight training, would be able to get a job somewhere, if your prepared to live in less than ideal places. The US have a few teritories that even now are crying out for pilots to fly turbine equipment, (twatters) under part 121. (sorry to the guy who complains about spelling errors, im in a bit of a hurry.
