Boeing Billy - "only way to get on an Ansett flight is via the internet or walk up to the counter" ??? What are you on about? Ansett has 2 of the 5 call centres working namely Adl and Lst 0600-2300 24/7.

Lame - "I cannot understand why the ex employees seem happy about what the administrators are doing". Because it means JOBS!!!

Fox Fire,

I am not going through all that again , read some of the other threads.....

The Fox/Lew/Tesna bid, if it goes ahead is offering more jobs, but they are mainly part time and job sharing. Plus there is no way they will last.......

The Virgin/Lang bid, while it is offering less jobs initially, they are full time jobs, and they will have more later........

Best regards,

"lame"

Lame - I have read the other threads. Regardless of what is posted here, what will be will be, we have no say in the matter. You seem to have the idea that employees can say 'sorry we don't want you to accept the Fox/Liew bid, take the other one".

Why don't you send a letter to the administrators giving your opinion instead of posting on here about it to people who have no say in the matter.

As I said before, I have had enough of the subject and trying to help you all, IF you are determined to follow the Fox/Lew bid, in spite of all the warnings from me and others here on PPRuNe, that is your lookout....

PLEASE, PLEASE stop quoting me like you did......

LAME

It's time for bed now, you have been far too busy.

So run along - sleep well - and I am sure you will wake up refreshed and ready for yet another days stirring on behalf of Virgin.

Sweet dreams.

The Star Alliance has built the first alliance terminal in KMIA and have commenced remodelling terminals around the world to be dedicated to Star Alliance.

As has been mentioned before, Mentha's comments regarding the SYD terminal and the value it adds to AN is crucial. Park a couple of Star aircraft there and a new ball game is in swing.

This is getting really boring, a member posts a question seeking answers about an important issue of the day or posts a news report about it (the media has been equally biased? about it) and then is pilloried for being pro this and anti that depending from which side you may be sitting and then theres the usual nyar nyar boo sucks "my Dad's a policeman" "you'll see" routine.

Some have suggested that they have no control over what happens, a little thought suggests that that is only so if you allow it to be.
So why don't we all start afresh go outside smell the flowers (it's Spring in case you haven't noticed) and find out where the real villains are, if indeed there are any other than in your own minds.

In other words CHILL OUT DUDES.

Going by the above comments AN employees should say they disagree with the acceptance of the Fox/Liew bid and if the administrators don't change their minds resign or take redundancy and do what - go on the dole for a possibly long time due to the huge unemployment situation? Work for Fox/Liew vs unemployment hmmm
