Heard from a reliable source today that Eagle Air (alias Air Nz Link) will not be receiving their long awaited replacement aircraft. Owners Air Nz have put a hold on spending the dosh on them.

What source did you hear this from...Eagle's Beech 1900D's are signed sealed in a contract... How can ANZ turn to Raytheon and say. "No we don't want them because we just posted a massive loss"??? Think about it guys!!!

There is a bunch of pilots over in the States, that have or are due to begin training in the near furture, last weeks events aside. Presumably the 1900s are still on their way, with all the hard work having been done.
