No equivocation here. The insults and personal abuse emanate predominantly from the kiwis.
I just state the facts. No we DON'T want them as another state at any price. The sooner we rid ourselves of their financial burdens the better. As it is our immigration laws are bypassed by NZ allowing themselves to be a back door staging post.

I also get very bored with the trans tasman bitching. I am an aussie who was recruited from aussie to go to NZ. NZ was the best time in my aviation career and I wish I was still there.Although enjoying my work back in aussie. I was HOUNDED out by very severe anti Australian mentality.Whether your from either side of the ditch, the bitching is not appreciated. I'd still be there if it wasn't for the treatment we received.So all of those people with chips on your shoulders,GET OVER IT!!!

Don't you worry about that Pharknose. If you had been around long enough you would know that insults wash over me like water off a duck's back. They have no effect but I do like to point out where they come from because it generally indicates the lack of a sensible reply. The practice a labelling someone stupid or racist in an endeavour to stifle debate has run it's course and doesn't work any more.
Also it is not a practice I indulge in.

THROTTLEMONKEY - Unfortunately the "toughen up and take it/dish it back" philosophy is a poor excuse after the event for bad manners at best, extreme rudeness at worst - certainly a large amount of what is being slung here IS "taking the pus", and is cheerfully accepted as such - however SOME remarks by a FEW participants are deeply offensive and insulting, and go beyond any concept of "friendly rivalry" - I am as 'tough" as the next person - assuming, for the sake of this discussion, that this is a virtue - but NO-ONE appreciates downright rudeness, insults, slurs, or slanders, and in OUR country to base such remarks on race/residence/origins is in fact illegal, as indeed, I believe it would be in Australia, famed as that country is for it's sense of fair play.
