Post Instrument Rating Infor Please

Hi all,

Just after some info on operators in the Melb. area as to who have a good reputaion for instrument ratings (MECIR). I'd be looking at doing it sometime in Nov. or Dec. depending on work but am at a loss as to where I should start looking.

I really want someone who has experience (obviously) and not just some instructor looking for twin time so they can join an airline.

Thanking you all in advance,

Cheers

Twin

PS - also as to where i could get a 310 and a PA31 endorsement at the end of it all. Thanks

Come on Guy's

All I need is a little bit of advice an/or direction as to who is worth doing the training with. I can't just go and check out the schools because of the distance I'd have to travel, so any help is much appreciated.

Do the rating in a Travelair as it gives you the Baron endorsement and WILL help you later in your flying career.

That should shorten the list of potential places...

Hi. I reckon Ross Carrington from GFS (General Flying Services) at YMMB have got to offer the best product in the country. What other people travel thosands of miles for is in your back yard.

Well just to help with the Travelair suggestion, I couldn't agree more! They are a good A/C. There are only 4 in the country, 2 at Lilydale Airport (Melb) the other two in Moorabin (although I beleive AEM is a little worse for ware).
