It was the max LANDING weight which was increased, as that was the problem on the short sectors.. .I havent flown it, but apparently it is a beautiful aircraft. Climbs well, with lovely acceleration.. .I have heard that the roll can be quite sloppy at low speeds, due to the ailerons being 'flown' by trim tabs.. .Not sure about trans tasman range, it would probably be pushing it, especially with full loads and bad weather.

Mmmmm, 5.7 miles per minute with 3.8 miles to run, nobody else see anything suspect about those figures ?. .Never having flown the type I would be happy to eat humble pie if someone were to explain to me how that is physically possible ( with spool up, I assume, having to happen somewhere above 500' ). .Fluffy's description of a high speed arrival differs quite a bit.. .What was that about your interview process Vince............... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" />
