Thumbs up

Hi, PVC!. .. .Contact the Australian Communications Authority (ACA)in Adelaide - 08-84025800 - and tell them that you want a Marine Radio Operator's Certificate of Proficiency (MROCP). They will provide you with a textbook (approx. $10) and then sit the theory exam.. .. .Alternatively, suggest you contact the South Australia Sea Rescue Squadron on 08-82955072 or Australian Volunteer Coastguard (North Haven) 08-82484482 and they will guide you through the procedures required.. .. .In fact, do the second, first!. .. .Best of luck! . . . . [ 17 March 2002, 02:02: Message edited by: Zarg ]

Hey PV !!!!. .Another good thing about the job is that the Aircraft are all airconditioned I beleive?. .So that means you can take a cask of Banrock with you on board during your shift and it'll stay COLD!!!!!. .Giddyup!!!!!

You should ask the question, " Why do they have such a high turn over of crews if they are so good to work for ?", I've worked for them also, the Flying was fun, but, there's always a but,it is without a doubt the worst work enviroment I have seen in my short few years.

Because who owns surv aust? answer NJS! . .Reddo must disagree with you about the airconditioning on the dash, its good at keeping the air circulating but that is about all.. . . . [ 21 March 2002, 05:58: Message edited by: sexkitten ]
