Thumbs down Airport car parking

Well it’s been a while, but it’s time to get on my soapbox again…

About a month ago our Airport Administrator decided (in their wisdom) to re-designate some of the car parking areas. Without informing anyone that park in these areas, they came in, changed the signs around, and then (to antagonise us a little more) sent in the local council to fine anyone parked in the wrong spot.

It’s a pity that due to the lack of competition at airports, these people can charge high fees for parking in what is basically an un-secure, open parking spot. You pay the same amount per month for a secure undercover spot in the city.

What experiences has anyone else had in regard to this…

Cheers,
Capt EFIS.

I went to the makeshift Kendals terminal at Adelaide today and was extremely surprised that they didnt have any tickety machines around trying to grab your money! (Maybe they did, I didnt see them and was lucky to get away with it!)
