Please don't be disheartened - your contributions are appreciated, perhaps by the silent majority. (I'll try to be more noisy next year )
Chimbu
I was just beginning to feel sorry for you, til I realised you were in Singapore - you can buy whatever you need there, and if your girlfriend is arriving next month you don't even need to buy...
Have a great Christmas, thanks to all Ppruners for your company this year - here's to a great New Year!

Bunker bid allows British man to escape Christmas
A British man is heading underground behind blast proof doors and three-metre thick concrete in a bid to escape the stresses of a family Christmas.
Colin Wood, a 30-year-old financial services worker, has coughed up $A857 to spend two weeks alone in a decommissioned nuclear bunker in Essex, east of London.
He has even foregone traditional Christmas fare, opting instead for a frugal diet of processed luncheon meat known as Spam, baked beans and tap water.
"He certainly seems to be a little bit disillusioned with Christmas," bunker owner Michael Parrish told Reuters.
"I gather it's like being in prison without the exercise hour or worse because you can't look out of the prison bars at the sun or the moon," he added.
Mr Wood was one of 50 would-be bunker dwellers who bid at Internet auction site www.bid-up.tv to hire the site where even Santa is unlikely to venture.

To ALL my fellow PPRuNers, antagonists, protagonists and good fun all singing all dancing fellow jousters, may you all have a very very Happy Festive season and may the New Year bring us all a deliverance from our individual woes of 2001, or at the very least, the grace to understand what they mean and resolve to go forward and prosper from there.

Got an optical mouse last week. My 8 year old looked disappointed when I threw away the mouse pad. Then yesterday she asked what would happen if I used it with a mouse pad, and brightened when I said it would work fine. Still didn't click (pardon the pun).
Guess what I got for Christmas? A mouse pad with her photo and Love You Daddy on it. Guess who's using the best present he ever got? Awww!! *wipes slightly misty eyes*
To the sounds of the Shrek video playing in the background and more questions from the Weakest Link question book, I'm off to a bellyful of prawns and beer; the perfect Christmas lunch!
A wonderful Xmas to all Ppruners everywhere.
