Air NZ jump seat
Flying YSSY to NZQN this weekend on NZ 232.. .. .Anyone know what Air New Zealand's policy is on jump seat rides (a) generally and (b) given the current climate of paranoia?. .. .Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me.

On Track. .. .Prior to 9/11 you would have been very welcome on a NZ F/D. Of course life is a little diff these days and your chances, I'm afraid, are at best slim. Real shame as the ride in to NZQN is one of the best around. My advice is to see the crew prior to start. Make sure you have a licence and ID.. .. .Queenstown is great this time of year. Enjoy your stay.
For FD seat on non U.S. flights, company policy at present is that the person must be know to a member of the crew. Otherwise chances are not good. But you never know. ZQN is one of the best places to see from up front. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="tongue.gif" />
