Airservices web site and NAIPS down today big time....

One would think they would have a mirror somewhere. Cant get thru on the phone either!

Too many eggs in the basket I think!

This system stinks!

Not Actually Intended to Provide a Service.

Well that certainly was the case today. Could not get through either through QF intranet or the usual means.

Had to brush the cobwebs off the phone and use Avfax.

worked fine for me at 1150 and 1550.

VHF flightwatch was another story though
compressor stall is online now

Guys,
Found out this morning that some Telstra guy in Canberra dug up the main NAIPS fibre optic cable with a backhoe. Pretty big problem, from one persons stupidity.

Knee jerk reaction.... thank you compressor in another thread for your forbearance of those of us at the coal face... yes some idiot in canberra severed over 60 fibre optics cables.. usual story understaffed...... I think we did a good job... and ty to those who persevered with us
