Brisbane itself is pretty lean for charter work.

In any case, the following organisations are worth a look-in:

Flight Training Australia

Sunland

Great Western Aviation (A/C at AF but office at BN. Wear your thick skin. ). . <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Five Star Aviation (BN)

I have been out of the BN GA scene for a couple of years so this may be a little out of date.

Cheers, and good luck.

LH

Has any-one ever had any luck with Airesearch Mapping? I think they operate C-421s and Barons. They are based in Brisbane. Any info would be great?

Nobar, what info do you have on Airesearch Mapping? I've never heard of them. Any addresses or people to contact?

Airesearch Mapping Pty Ltd - Phone 07 3841 3433 or Fax 07 3841 3466. Mail address is 11 Hi-Tech Court, Eight Mile Plains QLD 4113

I know a couple of young guys who got work with them - bother were fairly low time. They had no complaints other than it can be boring making a couple of hundred low level passes in a grid pattern. You often see their planes in the sky around Brisbane doing just that!

Give them a call and see how you go.

I knew some guys as well! I think there planes fly to New Zealand and Asia regularly. One of their 421s has winglets , you cant miss it. Does anyone have the requirements to get a job with them?

Tried to get hold of the CP of Airesearch mapping 4 times on the phone. Couldnt get past the girl answering the phone, was told they wanted 1,000 hours multi and not to bother sending a resume as they were not even accepting them at the moment. Heard a rumour they may be in the process of being taken over as well.

From sources they have been taken over by a company called Fugro worlwide. The biggest surveying company in the world. They have also merged with Kevron in Perth another surveying company.1000 hours seems a bit stupid though!
