Wink What is Ansett Worth?

If you bought $1000 worth of Ansett stock one year ago, it would be worth $49 today.. .If you bought $1000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer and. .traded in the cans for the aluminium, you would have $52 today.. .I just thought that was an interesting comparison.

EPIRB, if you bought Ansett stock then I have a bridge in Sydney going for scrap you may want to buy! (Ansett isn't listed).

I think he might be referring to Air New Zealand stock. They owned all of Ansett anyway.

Cheers,

Its sad that the future of some of AN's 767s and 146s may be as Foster's cans
