Anyone having a problem with links in incoming emails being replaced by the above, with a string of characters following, which leads to a 404 or similar page?
This has been happening for a few days now, and is making my emails virtually useless. Gurgle and Bong don't produce any answers or solutions. I'm using Thunderbird (31.7.0) on Win 8.1. |

If you can determine when this issue started, try doing a System Restore from before that date. It may remove what you appear to have been infected by.
Run a FULL anti virus scan on your system. You can also use Free Online Virus Scans https://www.google.com.au/?gws_rd=ss...ine+virus+scan I would also install and run Malwarebytes, Spybot and if your problem still exists have a look at Hitman Pro. Whatever this problem is, it has been around for at least 4 years so it should be curable. |
