Slow access to sub pages
 
Hello fellow PPruNers. May I run this problem by you for advice.

All of a sudden (since yesterday evening) I have slow access to sub pages. Using this site as an example, I open IE with no problem. Click a particular PPRuNe forum on my favourites and get usual fast access. Now, when I select a particular thread, no reaction for anything up to 30 seconds or sometimes more.

I have reset the router and modem, reduced web cache and cleared temp internet files - all to no avail.

Anyone had a similar experience and found the solution?

A few days after the above, I totally gave up with IE9 but it would appear that whatever the issue was it has now been cleared up. I can tell you that when I was troubleshooting the problem, I disabled all add-ons but that didn't help. Maybe it was a Windows update in the end I don't know.
