Slow to load pprune pages with IE9

Noticed this ever since I upgraded to IE9 and only with pprune (could be a general vBulletin issue). 1/3 attempts to navigate to a pprune page (could be anything) appear to load very slow. Often nothing loads for 30 seconds. During this time, I launch another pprune page on a different tab and that loads up fine. If I then go to the slow to load one and hit refresh, most of the time it loads up as normal on the second attempt.

Anyone?

IE9 seems to handle plugins in a different way. Check which ones you have running and disable any you don't need (especially toolbars)
ALso try running in IE in compatibility mode and see what happens
