Right click hell
Folks
For some reason my computer has taken to refusing to run any program unless I select it with a right click and a deselect of a tick in the Run As box which appears. Does anyone have a solution to this "tick" problem. Running Windows XP home. Oh ...it won't let me System Restore either. Grateful for your input EW |
looked in control panel
at the mouse settings ? Is it a fancy mouse with fancy drivers ?

Have you tried selecting the program and hitting Enter?
I reckon it's a double click problem as per the previous poster. You can slow down double click required speed if necessary in the control panel. |
Hi Guys
Thanks for the replies. I am not sure it is a mouse problem. When I try to open a program I am told there I have to create an association in control panel. The way around it is to right click on the icon and I am then given an option to remove a tick from a box. The program then runs.......does anyone know how to remove the ticked box option? Oh and when I try to access control panel I get the no program associated malarkey and also no access to system restore...... Thanks EW |
