What is this program?
Just run Norton Windoctor Version6 and its come up with this problem which it can't fix. I've never seen it before. The details are >> missing file C:\WINDOWS\system32\rts.exe" cannot access a necessary file, "sbpack32.dll <<
Run Adaware 6, Spybot S&D, McAfee Anti-Virus, no problems. Computer seems to be running happily enough, I'm just curious as to what it is and if I can safely ignore it. Symantec's site was no help or Google. Computer's using Athlon XP2000, Windows XP Home (fully updated), Groaning under the weight of software installed. |
Are you sure you tried Google?
"rts.exe" is spyware; it stands for Real-Time Spy. Read about it here . I think you need to do some more housekeeping. I suggest you have a look at Contol Panel>Add/Remove Programs to start with and then find "rts.exe" and delete it. It sounds as though the spyware isn't working properly anyway. |
Thanks for the information folks. When I did the search on Google I put all the info Windoctor gave me in. Now I've just asked to search for rts.exe there's loads of info. Thanks.
