Mouse acting slow
I seem to recall that mice act slow when memory is at a premium.
Mine seems to "hesitate" quite often, not like wot it didn't before I formatted my HDD and reinstalled Win98SE (it worked fine before then; just a routine clearing of the baffles prompted the re-format). Downloading stuff from t'internet seems slower too. I've tried reloading Win98Se again (without formatting the disc again...no change). Any ideas? Have you got all of the latest drivers (for everything)? Is it some special sort of mouse - maybe the Windows default drivers etc are not best suited?
Same sort of questions about modems etc. if internet seems slow. |
with only 256mb of ram if you have that right its more likley windows itself is juddering.
