Changing (stored) e-mail titles

I have subscriptions with various "newsletter" and "e-mail of the day" services.

The good hints, tips, newsworthy items get stored away in their own little folders.

Snag is, if I open those folders, all I see is

August 1
August 2
August 3
August 4...etc.

Is there any way to change the title (subject) of the e-mail when saving it, so that I have a reference list, rather than a calendar??

Outlook Express. IE6. Windows XP (Pro)

Good Question! I don't think that there is an easy way. But it is possible if you Forward the emails to yourself with the Title you want to save them under. Not too onerous if there aren't too many and you are on broadband.

I think you were pointing at the "Save as" option. That is the same as "drag'n drop" to the desktop and renaming the copied e-mail.

Problem is, as soon as you re-import it back into OE to read the e-mail, it reverts to the original Title.
