Firewire/USB 2.0 Adapter Advice
Having scraped the cash together (read : having hidden it from the missus
) I am desperate to buy an Apple IPOD. The problem is that my PC (Compaq IPAQ Desktop running windows 98) does not have any slots at all, let alone a spare one for a Firewire/USB 2.0 card. I do have one spare USB 1.0 port. Do any of you experts in Ppruneland have any ideas how I might be able to get round this, as I will need a lot more time to get the cash together for a new puter, and as a gadget addict, I need my IPOD NOW!. Thank you for your help. (I know that if I end up going to a shop and asking, I'll walk out in a daze clutching lots of kit and a huge credit card receipt)
