Apple I POD
I have just aquired an I pod but I do not have a fire wire port.
I have been told you can get a PCMCIA card attachment to fire wire, has anybody used this? Does it work OK?

jdoe,
I have not used one, but there are many companies making PCMCIA cards for both Firewire and USB 2.0. The only limit you will have it whether your PCMCIA Bus can handle 400mps transfer rate or not. This is a picture of the cheapest PCMCIA firewire card I have seen:
It runs about $17.00 here in the U.S.
HEISEI, Alpha Digital, Zonet, & BELKIN all make versions of Firewire cards.
