I have just taken possesion of a new to me computer. For some strange reason the @ key comes up with " and the " key produces the @ symbol. I tried a different keyboard and had the same response ?
Anyone got any ideas ?
Thanks in anticipation

Can you boot up in simple DOS? If so, what happens then? You will need a line
keyb uk,,C : \ WINDOWS\COMMAND\keyboard.sys
in Autoexec.bat
PS had to space out the : \ to avoid an accidental smilie!
