cd/r-rw probs

Hi
I am using a RICOH CD/R-RW and it will not show how much memory/space is left on a cd/rw.As you know with a 3.5 floppy it shows this by going to the properties menu , (in the form of a pie chart).
Does anyone out there have any ideas (other that binning the thing) on how I could do this.
Your suggestions would be greatfully accepted.

What OS are you using? XP Home on my machine shows the pie graph.

Do you get a 'full' pie chart, or no chart at all?

If you can find out how much space has been used, just deduct this from the capacity of the disc (650 or 700mb).

Is the disc 'closed' ie, no further writing possible.? Even if you have only, say, 6mb written to the disc, it will show the disc as being full.

Hope this helps.
