AOL Media Player
I like AOL.... It suits me lovely, bar one thing. On my laptop the above player is as useless as a chocolate teapot.
I'm running XP home and AOL v7.0.
Does anybody know how I can change it and use Quicktime/Real Player Plus whilst running AOL without opening Internet Explorer (particularly for streaming)?????
Muchos Gracias....Dixie

If you go to the websites of the players
( http://www.apple.com/quicktime/ & http://uk.real.com/index-direct.html?lang=en-gb&loc=gb )
you should be able to download them, for free from thier.
You may have to look at the settings in the players and make one of them your default so that when you download media, it will automaticly play it in Real Player or Quciktime.
Hope this works and makes sense.

Dixie,
Try going 'Customise', 'Preferences', 'Multimedia' and undo the checkbox which says something like 'always use AOL Media Player'.
I'm not too good at this sort of thing, but it might just work!
All the best,
Cheers,
