Keeps freezing! HELP
Hey guys. Am usually not too bad on the technical stuff, however I'm about to throw my PC through the window any moment now. When I log on my computer is freezing. no amount of rebooting solves the problem.
Is it possible defragmenting when not necessary may cause this to happen?
Need to be talked through it step by step if anyone has the time or patience.

Need a little more info then maybe someone here can help you sort things out.
You say that it is when you log on... is this logon to Pprune? or are you talking about Windows 2000 network logon? or is it something else?
Also at what point does it freeze? What's happening on screen at the time?
