www links

If I wanted to paste a link somewhere, how do I get my own title for it, such as click here , rather than the straight webpage address such as http://www.pprune.org ?

When you next "Post Reply", study the edit screen carefully. Click on the button labelled "http://" and the first thing you are asked to do is give your link a title. When you have done that, and have clicked on OK, you are given another dialogue box in which you put the URL of the link. Ideally you will already have copied this to the Clipboard so all you have to do is paste your URL in the dialogue box.

When you click OK, the result is a link with the title you gave it but with the URL of the site/page you want to go to.
