Poll on "yellow"
Judging from the reports of various color effects seen by individuals on "Jet Blast" and "Internet and Computer Issues", I'm not sure Pprune HQ really knows what effects the changes they make have on what colors viewers see.
What do you think of the recent introduction of yellow and effectively disappearing links? Record your vote.

I voted no to yellow; not because of the colour of the bar at the top of the page, but when a topic is highlighted with my cursor it virtually disappears because of the lack of contrast with the board background.
Can we try another colour, maybe?

Several lines like this:
A:hover {COLOR: #FFCE00;}
in the Pprune web pages seem to be cause of the disappearing links.
The effect can be killed in IE by going to
Tools -> Internet options -> Accessibility -> check "Ignore colors specified in web pages".
The hover color is then determined by:
Tools -> Internet options -> colors -> check "Use hover color" -> click on color, and select a color.
Unfortunately, checking "Ignore colors specified in web pages" kills a lot of other features as well, so its probably not very useful to many people.
