Closing a Hotmail Account

Does anybody have any idea how to close a hotmail e-mail account? I am fed up receiving junk. Even allowing your mailbox to reach max capacity doesn't work - the hotmail 'janitor' merely clears some of the contents to make way for more! I've been on the MSN website, but there does not appear to be any means of contacting them to shut down the account.

Pleeeese, any clues?

Don't do anything.

If you don't access it every 30 days, it will be de-activated anyway. No further mail can be sent to the address, although I believe it is possible to re-activate it within 90 days.
