What”s with this app now being required ? It looks like it costs 90 $ a year and now you have to use it to log on WTF ?

Any context? Both Microsoft and Google authenticator apps are free.

Yes I downloaded what I thought was the Authy app from the Apple App Store but it obviously wasn’t and then the next day got an email saying I had been billed 😡

That's a sickener. I'd have expected the Apple App store to be one of the safest places to download software from.
