How is it people can disappear off Google?

I know of people whom I have googled. They have appeared on gooke. A year or so later, gone without trace.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and you may see:

"Some results may have been removed under data protection law in Europe." (with a 'Learn more' link)

It's a very useful warning - anyone relatively famous or big in industry who has that note at the bottom of their entry has probably employed someone to whitewash their past history

and you might start to wonder why....................................
