I'm trying to use this option, and have no problems with the 'Full Page' option.

However when using the 'Free select' setting followed by Copy, I can't seem to find where it's copied to. Any ideas?

It's copied to clipboard on a Windows system. Google "where is the clipboard" or "view clipboard content" for your operating system (probably Win 10).
