All Apps Taskbar - Windows 10
My All Apps taskbar normally on the LH side of my laptop screen has arbitrarily? disappeared and despite all my efforts remains hidden. It is normally 'summoned' by the windows icon in the bottom LH corner of the tray. I have checked that I am not in Tablet mode and have now run out of ideas. Input very welcome!
Try:-
Press the Windows key on the keyboard to bring up the Start Menu. This should also make the taskbar appear. Right-Click on the now-visible taskbar and select Taskbar Settings. Click on the 'Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode' toggle so that the option is disabled
or some of these

Asturias,
Thanks for this but I may not have explained the problem very clearly. The now missing taskbar is the All Apps taskbar that is normally accessed by the windows key on the keyboard or the start button in the bottom LH corner of the screen. When working normally this taskbar runs vertically down the LH side of the screen. Neither do this any longer and I cannot find any means of getting it back to how it was. Any suggestions are most welcome.

Never seen that happen and can't see how it can be switched off - clicking on the bottom horizontal taskbar brings up options but none of them seem to be relevant
