W10 after the last update.

I have a copy of W10 which is from a stick i.e. it is not an upgrade of 7 or 8 but a clean install on a new machine.
After the last "Update" my 'lock' screen is a varying landscape each time I switch on. Since the update when I press enter to go to the sign on screen the picture blurs. Previously it remained.
Am Imissing a setting or is this a "Feature"
