Yahoo Mail

I received an e-mail a few days ago, as some of you out there may have also received, from "Yahoo Mail" informing me that "Starting January 31st, 2019, the classic version of Yahoo Mail that you’re using on your computer will no longer be available. To ensure continued access to your Yahoo Mail account, you will be automatically upgraded to the latest version of Yahoo Mail or Basic Mail, depending on the compatibility of your computer’s web browser."

I've no real problem with this although I'm very comfortable with my current version, but let me ask all of you Yahoo Mail users out there who have this upgrade - can I expect any problems when this auto upgrade kicks-in? My main concern is, will the e-mails in my Folders be affected - some of these are important personal and business correspondence. Also, to be safe, is there any way to save my Folders to a non-Yahoo Mail location? Many thanks.

Having done this recently, no problems losing anything. All looks pretty much the same.

Having had problems with my e browser, I tossed a coin and switched over to Giggle Chrome recently. When I tried to open Yahoo Mail they sort of frog-marched me into the 'newer' version of Yahoo Mail, making the whole thing close to painless. And all these years I had been putting it off!

Just one person's opinion. I would wait for a couple more before taking the final death-defying leap!
