Help - Gmail - Syncing is Paused
On just one of my Gmail accounts when I sign out I am getting this message and the undermentioned text;-
"Your bookmarks, history, passwords and more are no longer being synced to your account but will remain on this device. Sign in to start syncing again." Gmail invites me to sign in again to restore syncing, or continue. When I have left the account I get a tab top right saying "Paused" against that account only. The account still sends and receives emails.
I have googled the issue and it comes up with stuff about "Google Drive" and a tab that should appear on my desktop - but it doesn't. in any event I haven't knowingly signed up to Google Drive, and don't really want Google sync anything to my account.
Two questions:- How can I resolve the problem; and what have I done to create it?
Any help from the tech savvy would be much appreciated.
