LCD screen help please
Have just built and installed a basic W98 machine for a friend. He decided to treat himself to a Philips 150S LCD monitor which is super. When I try to load System Commander the screen goes blank with a message indicating that the native resolution of 1024x768 is incompatible with System Commander. Have tried it with the /v switch with the same result. The Vcom website has no helpful info. Anyone experienced anything similar or any suggested fixes, please. I have downloaded System Commander 7 which is XP compliant and loads on my laptop, so that will probably work but the friend is some distance away and a fix by phone would be better.
