I was thinking of replacing my Psion with an Ipaq or similar, but I have a small program that I wrote using the built in Epoc editor.
What would be a useful piece of software to rewrite the program?

Check out handango.com
In general not as much free stuff as for Palms. PPC owners can apparently afford to splurge.
Also brighthand.com is a good source of info on PPCs.
