iPad size 2 relax state correlation?
I was wondering whether others made the same observation?
I did a couple of refresh trainings for biennials lately and found they all carry iPads (no Androids, which was surprising to me). When one of these guys first entered the 172 with a big iPad Pro, I came to the final impression that the size of the iPad was a measure on how relaxed the pilot is.
Proposal to discuss: The bigger the iPad screen, the more professional and relaxed the pilots behave?
Most of the "Mini" pilots were not really confident upon their own skills, the "Normal 10 inch" pilots were some kind of average, but the few with the "Big 13 inch" were totally relaxed and self conscious.
Is that OWT confusion, or is there something important in it?

There may be some correlation between iPad size and disposable income. The bigger the iPad, the wealthier the owner. That translates into more money to spend on flying and more hours in the air, so more confidence.
Alternatively if all the pilots had similar financial resources, the size of the iPad could relate to their commitment to flying as it is a significant investment.
As for the reason to pick an iPad over an Android device, Android devices are more prone to computer viruses and software incompatibility between operating system versions. Both types of tablet are capable of doing exactly the same job, but for safety critical applications, it has to be an iPad.
