Facetime question
On my iphone I occasionally use Facetime where the recipient also has there IPAD/Phone on the net. However if the Facetime video icon is not highlighted on my phone does that mean that the recipients Ipad is not handshaking with mine or what?

At a guess, I would suggest that it probably means that the recipients device is not currently able to receive FaceTime video calls. That might be due to being switched off / airplane mode / low bandwidth connection / operating on a cellular network with FaceTime restricted by the user to wi-fi only.
