Another *%!*? popup?

Is it just me or are others getting a "popup" for "macromedia flash player 6" every time they change a page on Pprune? thought it might be my connection but it is NOT happening on other sites, probably not appearing with many as they downloaded popup stoppers after the last time!

Cool

There is a utility called pop-up stopper. It's free from WWW.panicware.com it works a treat and stopped the last one with me.

Regards

This is why

This is why....

The banner at the bottom of the page is a Flash banner which means it needs the Flash plugin in your browser in order to be displayed.

The popup you are seeing is not advertising it's just asking you if you want to download the plugin.

You might as well say yes since quite a few pages use Flash and it doesn't take too long to download!

Cheers guys

Man on the Fence.....

THe reason you're getting it at home but not work is probably because your work PC already has the Flash plugin installed.

Cheers

Well it seems to have stopped now - don't know why.
