My company uses Surface tablets, not iPhones. And we read our weather briefings that include synoptic charts and sigcharts.

What are the security implications of installing a non-approved part-developed app on a company i-device used for aspects of aviation safety?

edit: I see now that it is offered via the i-store, so it at least has the approval (whatever that means) of Apple.
