"contact us" bits on web sites
whenever i click on contact us bits on web sites all i get is a window message saying "could not perform this operation because the default client is not properly installed
my isp has suggested i reinstall outlook express and internet explorer...
does anyone think that is the problem and ifso how just these programs
have windows xp home version from time computers
please make if simple as new to these things thanks

When you click on a 'contact me' button or link you are actually issuing a command to start up your email client software and begin a new email message. If your email software is incorrectly installed or configured you'll get the message you refer to, likewise (although less likely) with Internet Explorer.
I suggest you first ensure your email client is set to be the default email handler (somewhere in OPTIONS/EMAIL SETTINGS in outlook express). If this setting is OK you may well have to re-install your email software which (assuming Outlook Express here) you'll probably find on your Windows XP CD-Rom.

well thanks alot...found a whole new section in this funny thing called a computer
its amazing...now i can use my web based email account alot easier...as you guessed outlook express hadn/t even been touched that alone set up
