Stuff 'stored' in Firefox

I store usernames on my banking sites in FF (not passwords) and these show listed in the FF security page - however they do not 'appear' on the bank login page. This appears to be new following latest FF version install.

You may well find you have to tell your bank site to remember you rather than get FF to do it.

Yes - that was done, but I thought the username was FF provided when 'stored'?

Thanks, Mixture, but it was usernames I want to 'store' and NOT passwords for safety reasons. It looks as if vulcan's (cookie) way is the only way.

Does anyone know if some secure sites are dropping login details with a change in IP address?

I've noticed that with no change from my side (apart from Firefox version updates) it no longer fills in some of the initial login stuff that it used to do.
If I type the first few letters, and then click, sometimes it will complete the entry (and sometimes it won't).

I have no idea what's causing it, but it's a pain.
